The Power of Words Mini Curriculum: Choosing the right words matter, and this module combines playful experiments with words to insightful explanations of why words matter. Affirmation flags and experiments with rice help students learn to think before they speak, and will experience the power of positive words in everyday life, both individually and in groups. They will learn how to protect themselves from negative talk, both negative self-talk and negative words from others. Includes dealing with conflict with others, negative self-talk, and using words to build positive connections.
